Hello I am just getting started in G. I have been looking at using battery/radio control system. I have seen airwire and an old Aristocraft system. I don't understand why there is not something new available in 2.4 GH. I recently saw MRC has come out with what the call a Loco genie and Sound genie. This appears to be 2.4 GH and is relatively inexpensive. They list receivers for G scale but none are available yet. What advice does anyone have on these systems? I appreciate your input.
